Faro Academy Dubai: Our New HQ Is Ready — But the Geopolitical Situation Forces Us to Pause on Dates

There is good news, and there is an honest admission. Let us start with the good news: our new Dubai headquarters, established within the prestigious Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) free zone, is officially operational. The setup process is complete. The space is ready. And it deserves a proper inauguration — with you.
The honest update: The Faro Academy session originally planned for May 2025 cannot yet be confirmed. The current geopolitical climate — affecting logistics, travel corridors, and regional access — makes any fixed date commitment irresponsible. This decision is entirely beyond our control, and we make it with genuine regret.
Why Geopolitics Disrupts Even the Best-Laid Plans
Faro Academy is a hands-on training programme: clients and technicians travel, machines are demonstrated live, and learning happens in person. When regional tensions disrupt flight networks, restrict cross-border movement, or create logistical uncertainty — as is currently the case across several corridors connecting our key markets — the practical conditions for a safe and effective Academy session simply do not exist.
We will not hold a diluted event for the sake of holding one. The Faro Academy experience is worth waiting for.
What Is Ready and Waiting for You
Our DMCC office is a permanent base for training, technical support, sales consultation, and — when the moment is right — the inauguration event our partners in the region deserve. We are not retreating. We are preparing.
All programmes planned for the Academy remain on the agenda: machine demonstrations, CAD-CAM workflow sessions with Pigreco, application clinics for both jewelry and eyewear production, and direct dialogue with Faro engineers.
As soon as conditions allow, we will announce a confirmed date with adequate advance notice. We ask for your patience — and promise it will be worth it.
